In 1987 we created 5 trout rearing ponds for the wet fish trade when the large
retailers started dictating prices.

Over the years we dug another 7 ponds and diversified processing our own trout for local shops, hotels, restaurants etc and also started growing top quality restocking trout.

Around 15 years ago we decided to get out of the rat race and landscaped 5
ponds and created Bratton Water Fishery, stocked with naturally grown
pristine challenging trout in stunning surroundings for everyone to enjoy as much as we do
